3 Signs You’re Taking Too Many Steps In Your Business

Taking to many steps in your business?

I bet you’ve never asked yourself that question before. I mean, how could you possibly take too many steps in your business? Every step is moving you forward, right? Isn’t that just great?

Even if the steps you’re taking are moving you forward, you should always be asking yourself if you could get the same results or even better with fewer steps.

Personally, I took way too many unproductive steps in the beginning. Sure, it finally brought me to the great results I see today, but I would definitely do things another way if I had to start from scratch.

Keep reading to learn how you can put an end to your frustration and start taking the right steps in your business from now on.

Signs you’re taking too many steps in your business, and how to fix it

Here are the 3 most important signs you’re taking too many steps in your business and what to do to stop wasting your time.

#1. You haven’t specified your goals

If you don’t set specific goals for your business, you have no idea where you’re heading. Setting goals is simple, but if they aren’t specific they’ve no purpose.

Examples of unspecific goals:

  • “I’m going to put in all the hours I can spare to build my business.”
  • “I’m going to make as much money as possible by the end of the year.”

Now, let’s rephrase the above goals into specific ones:

  • “I’m going to work 2 hours per day in my business.”
  • “I’m going to reach a monthly residual income of $5000 by the end of the year.”

Quite a difference, right? The key part of a specific goal is its number(s). You know exactly what you’re aiming for and, most importantly, there is no room for excuses.

#2. You are busy but not productive

Are you spending 80% of your time reading e-mails and watching videos to learn the latest marketing tricks while spending only 20% of your time placing ads and following up with leads?

This is not very productive and will not bring you much closer to your goals.

Being productive means focusing on income producing activities. That is what you should be doing at least 90% of the time.

But there’s still one more problem you might need to get out of the way…

#3. You’re lacking essential tools to take the right steps in your business

Are you sending all your traffic and prospects directly to your company’s replicated website? Doing all the follow-up manually?

Then you’re working at least 20 times harder than you should.

With the right tools in place, you can automize at least 95% of your lead follow up, making sure you’re spending your personal time on your best prospects only.

And if that wasn’t enough; you’re also getting an additional income stream that pays you even when a prospect says NO to your business opportunity.
