The Renegade Action Workshop 3

Renegade Action Workshop 3

In late February I went to Minneapolis to attend Renegade Action Workshop 3 with Ann Sieg, her team of certified trainers and about 100 other members of Daily Marketing Coach. It was my third trip to the US and the first to Minnesota.

The Renegade Action Workshop was very different from the GIANT Unstoppable Entrepreneur event I attended in San Diego two years ago. With fewer attendees it was so much more personal, and I got a chance to speak to both the presenters and more than half of the attendees.

Renegade Action Workshop – Opening with Ann Sieg

We begun on Friday 22nd at 9 am with Introduction & The Big Picture of a Marketing Funnel with Ann Sieg.

Here we learned how to set up the basic parts of a successful marketing funnel and how to make it perform it’s three main tasks:

1. Sift and sort through your prospects so you only spend time with the best ones.
2. Follow up with and pre-sell your prospects for you through educational marketing.
3. Generate an immediate upfront profit.

After that we got seated in smaller groups and got the chance to meet all the trainers and ask questions.

Personal Branding with Natasha Hazlett

Next, we got a powerful presentation on Personal Branding with Natasha Hazlett.

Furthermore, we learned how to find our perfect niches and ideal clients for our products and services and how to come up with a great USP (Unique Selling Proposition).

Marsha Godwin – Blogging expert

After the lunch break it was time for Marsha Godwin’s presentation “No Place Like Home – Your Blogging Blueprint”.

We learned why it’s almost mandatory to use video in your marketing today.

– Beginner Videos – For the About me page, Work with me page and as a Welcome video on your blog.
– Intermediate Videos – For your Lead capture page and Thank you page.
– Experienced Videos – Sales videos and PPC videos

We also learned how to structure our videos – All the way from getting our viewer’s attention to the final call-to-action.

“Plan, Do, Check, and Adjust” – One of the most important takeaways from Renegade Action Workshop

On Saturday we kicked off with the “Plan, Do, Check, and Adjust” training with Ann Sieg.

Ann Sieg hosted Renegade Action Workshop 3

She trained on how to set up and structure two of the most important pages on our blogs – the “About Me” page and the “Work With Me” page.

Angela Brooks – social media training

Next, Angela Brooks did a very interesting training on how to position yourself on Social Media. How to use Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram to build a following of interested prospects. What to write about and what to share with your followers.

During the afternoon session, Eric Walker taught Empathy mapping and how to really understand your prospects and customers. “What do they think and feel?”, “What do they say and do?”, etc.

Follow up & Sales on the phone with Curt Johnson

Finally, Curt Johnson trained on Follow-up & Sales on the phone. How to structure your phone call. The importance of listening and understanding your prospect. How to make a great call to action.

The Award Ceremony at Renegade Action Workshop

We also had an Award ceremony with prizes for great achievements during the last couple of months.

I received a “I Crushed It” t-shirt for being in the lead at the 60-day mark of our recent 90-day webinar invitation challenge.

Round Table Seating and the DMC+ Song

Sunday was dedicated to Round table seating where we worked on our sales funnels while getting advices from the trainers that rotated from table to table during the day. This was a true priceless day. On how many events would you get so much personal training for a whole day?

We also had a lot of fun moments at Renegade Action Workshop. Here the Total Funnel Immersion group perform their song “DMC+” (Y.M.C.A.)

Sightseeing in Minneapolis

Before I got back to Sweden on Tuesday evening, I had two days left for sightseeing. The event was held in Bloomington, very close to Mall of America, so I spent a lot of time enjoying this GIANT place.

I took the light rail to downtown Minneapolis, walked the Heritage trail at the river and saw St Anthony Falls. I also visited the beautiful Long Meadow Lake in Bloomington.

This was an amazing trip. The event was over the top and I met so many fantastic people there. Interactive webinars are great, but nothing compares to live events! I also liked Minneapolis a lot, a beautiful city with so much to see!
